Come see our garden train and replicas of historic buildings from around town.  We’ll also have various other trains on display in our backyard.

The Castle Rock Museum will give free walking tours of downtown Castle Rock each month from June to September.  Join us for the June tour on June 22, 2024 at 10:30 AM. The 45-minute tour will begin at The Courtyard on Perry Street, 333 Perry St. and will conclude at the Castle Rock Museum, 420 Elbert Street.  The tour will highlight the history of Castle Rock and its many historic buildings. “Scavenge The Rock” is back.  What better way to learn about Castle Rock’s history than to explore Downtown Castle Rock with a scavenger hunt?  Pick up the clue sheets at the Castle Rock Museum starting May 1^st.  Go around town to complete the tasks on the sheet.  Return the sheet to the Castle Rock Museum to receive a gift and you can be entered into a drawing to win tickets to the Summer Concert Series, Golf Certificates and much more.  You have the whole month of May to complete the hunt.  Bring your family, friends, co-workers or do it on your own.  It’s a fun and easy way to learn some history, get to know Castle Rock better and win some prizes.
