Local storyteller, Ron Claussen will talk about the history of Castlewood Canyon Dam and its importance to Douglas County. Home to many pioneers, the Castlewood Canyon area has been the center of many people's lives. Come hear Mr. Claussen tell stories and teach about Castlewood Canyon. The presentation is at 7pm at the Philip & Jerry Miller Library 100 S. Wilcox St. Castle Rock, CO 80104. Scavenge The Rock is back. For the whole month of May, you get to participate in a scavenger hunt that takes you around Downtown Castle Rock. Starting May 1st, pick up a clue sheet at the Castle Rock Museum, complete the tasks and return the sheet to the Museum by 2:00pm on May 31st.
Complete clue sheets will be entered into a drawing to win prizes. The drawing will be at the Castle Rock Museum on May 31st at 3pm.

This year's trolley tour will feature the 60th Anniversary of the 1965 Flood. We will show you where noted events happened on that fateful day and artifacts that still remain visible today.
Tours start at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:00pm & 2:00pm. Please contact the Castle Rock Museum to make a reservation.
